Whitney Jacky, Au.D., CH-TM
Doctor of Audiology & Tinnitus Management Specialist
Dr. Whitney Jacky is a proud Walla Walla native with a passion for helping people hear—and live—better. She completed her undergraduate studies at Western Washington University in Bellingham, WA, and went on to earn her Doctorate of Audiology from Idaho State University in Pocatello, ID. She holds her CH-TM certification, a tinnitus management certification offered by the American Board of Audiology (ABA). She is a fellow of the American Academy of Audiology (AAA), a member of The American Tinnitus Association (ATA), a member of the Academy of Doctors of Audiology (ADA) and a member of the Northwest Academy of Audiology (NWAA).
Her decision to become an audiologist is deeply personal. Growing up, Dr. Jacky’s father had multiple sclerosis, which limited his mobility but never his love for connection. In his later years, he underwent a tracheostomy and lost the ability to speak. As the disease progressed, he could no longer write—leaving him isolated and unable to fully engage with his loved ones. This heartbreaking shift in their relationship left a lasting impression. When he eventually received a speaking valve, it allowed for limited communication again, offering glimmers of connection. That experience underscored for Dr. Jacky just how essential communication is to emotional well-being. It became her mission to help others avoid that sense of disconnection and to ensure that everyone has the opportunity to stay present, heard, and supported.
When she’s not in the office, you’ll likely find her spending time with her husband, Michael—yes, that friendly face who greets you when you come into Horizon Hearing & Tinnitus—and their two beloved dogs, Maisie and Groot. She also enjoys crafting, traveling, and getting competitive over a good board game.
At the heart of her practice is a deep commitment to the Walla Walla community—and to helping every patient feel heard, understood, and empowered.
